Akari - Guardian of Balance

A spirit has corrupted the forest. The trees are withering and the creatures living in it attack anyone who comes close. Nobody knows what is happening, but Akari has the power to give them back their balance. Akari - Guardian of Balance is an isometric action adventure inspired by Japanese folklore and its yokai creatures. Guide Akari and use her magic trail to surround and purify corrupted plants, trees and creatures. Every circle you close can bring a part of the forest back to life. SURROUND TO PURIFY Your path is your power. Move around whatever you want to heal and close the circle with your magic trail. Choose your route, watch your energy and find the right moment to act while you dodge their attacks. FREE THE CREATURES OF THE FOREST The Oni will try to club you and the Hebi, water snakes, will spit venom at you. Purify them so they recover their true nature and can leave in peace. BEWARE OF THE KEGARE Impurity has taken shape. The Kegare attack with venom and corrupt again the trees and Oni you had already healed. Their presence can change your plans: you will have to act before they undo your work. DON'T TRUST EVERYTHING YOU SEE The Kitsune create illusions to confuse you and attack you. Some trees and Oni are not what they seem: purify them and they vanish. Watch your surroundings and don't let their tricks lead you off your path. BEAT YOUR TIME Learn to use the magic trail in the first levels and face new challenges as you advance.
