You'll see how far apart they are, how long they last, and how long the pattern has held, against the guideline you selected: 5-1-1, 4-1-1, or 3-1-1. IT WON'T GUESS. No figure appears until there's enough timed to mean something — an em dash, never a zero, and never an average built from two intervals. If you forget to tap the end, that contraction is flagged and left out of the averages instead of quietly distorting them. BUILT FOR A DARK ROOM AND ONE HAND.
