Fairspell: Weather Windows

Every forecast hides good hours. Fairspell finds yours. Weather apps hand you a wall of numbers and leave the thinking to you. WHAT MAKES A WINDOW A window is a run of consecutive hours that satisfies every rule you set: temperature, rain chance, rain amount, wind and gusts, UV, humidity, cloud cover, daylight. Score 80 or above and it is a fair spell. Between 60 and 79 it is workable. Below that, Fairspell stays quiet rather than wasting your time. THE HOURS BEFORE AND AFTER This is the part other apps miss. Mowing wants roughly twelve dry hours beforehand or you are cutting wet grass. Paint and sealant want dry hours afterwards or the finish is ruined. Fairspell checks the hours on either side of a window, not just the window itself, and trims or rejects it accordingly. PRIVACY, PLAINLY Fairspell collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code. Your location is rounded to about a kilometre before it is used, and it goes only to Apple Weather — never to us. Searching for a place sends the name you type to Apple's geocoding service, and nowhere else. Your activities, places and forecasts stay in a database on your phone.
