Another: SSH client & Server

Most SSH apps only connect out. This one works in both directions. YOUR PHONE CAN BE THE SERVER Start server mode and the device listens for ordinary ssh and sftp on port 2222. From a Mac or Linux machine, "sftp -P 2222 phone@192.168.1.42" lists and transfers the app's shared folder — the same folder the Files app already shows. No cable, no cloud account, and no copy of your file resting on somebody else's disk along the way. A six-digit passcode is generated when you start the server, shown on screen, and good for that run only. Writing is off until you turn it on. PAIRING VERIFIES THE KEY INSTEAD OF TRUSTING IT The phone shows a QR code carrying its address and its own fingerprint. Scan it with another iPhone running the app and a confirmation screen opens; confirm, and the connection checks the host key against the fingerprint that came in the code. Not trust-on-first-use — verified first use. Most clients can't do this, because they aren't on both ends. BROWSE THE SERVER, NOT JUST ITS SHELL An SFTP file browser on the servers you connect to: list directories, download and upload, rename, delete, make folders — over the connection you already opened, so there is no second login and it inherits the host key you already verified. Keep up to eight sessions open at once in tabs. IT CHECKS WHO IT'S TALKING TO The first time you connect out, the app shows you the server's key fingerprint and asks you to confirm it. After that the key is remembered — and if a server ever presents a different one, the connection stops and warns you before your password is sent. That is the difference between a secure connection and one that merely looks like it. IT COLLECTS NOTHING No analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no account, no third-party SDKs. Hostnames and usernames stay in a database on your device. Passwords and private keys go to the iOS Keychain, available only while your device is unlocked and never synced to iCloud. The developer operates no servers and receives no data from you. A REAL TERMINAL Full xterm-compatible emulation with 256 colours, 10,000 lines of scrollback, and proper resizing, so vim, htop and tmux behave the way they do on a desktop. Adjust the text size, pick a colour theme, or restyle the whole app with one of two optional appearances. It shares one folder, not your device. The built-in shell is a fixed command set, not bash, and nothing you upload is ever executed. The app does not do agent forwarding, keyboard-interactive two-factor prompts, port forwarding or SOCKS tunnels, Mosh, snippets, or syncing between devices.
