GuideHer is for the weeks after someone says the word "cancer" out loud. It will not diagnose you. It will not tell you which treatment to have. Your oncology team leads every medical decision. GuideHer is for the hours in between, when the appointment is over, the letter is on the kitchen table, and there is nobody left to explain what any of it meant. MAKES THE PAPERWORK READABLE Photograph your diagnosis letter, pathology report or treatment plan. GuideHer reads it and writes you a summary in ordinary words, then sets up a timeline so you can see where you actually are. The photos themselves are not kept: only the summary, which you can read, export or delete whenever you want. TELLS YOU WHAT IS COMING Chemotherapy. Surgery. Radiation. Targeted therapy. Hormone therapy. Healing after surgery. Reconstruction and body choices. Life after treatment. Each one is a calm guide: what happens, what it tends to feel like, and what to ask at the next appointment. TRANSLATES THE WORDS NOBODY EXPLAINED Type in "HER2-positive", or "neoadjuvant", or whatever is on the letter that you did not want to admit you did not understand. You get one plain sentence back. Keep the ones you want to keep. KEEPS TRACK SO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO Log how you are in one tap (good, tired, nauseous, anxious, in pain) and add a note if you feel like it. Your appointments live in one calendar. Your chemotherapy sessions count down as you finish them, because on the bad days it helps to see the number go down. SITS WITH YOU AT 2AM Companion chat listens when it is late, the house is quiet, and you do not want to worry anyone else. It is not a crisis line and it will not give you medical advice. If something is wrong, it will tell you to call your team or emergency services, and there is an emergency call button on every screen. STORY CIRCLE Read what other women are living through, and write your own if you want to. You can post anonymously. Story Circle is a public feed. Anyone can read it, including people who are not signed in, and the app tells you that before you post. THE SMALL THINGS Meal ideas for the weeks when nothing tastes right. Water tracking. A line written for you each morning. A place to keep your care team's phone numbers so you are not searching for them in a panic. FOR THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU There is a free guide for partners, family and friends who want to help and have no idea how. You can send them to it without signing them up for anything. PRIVACY, IN PLAIN WORDS • Lock GuideHer with Face ID, Touch ID or your fingerprint, so a diagnosis is not the first thing someone sees if they pick up your phone. • No advertising. No analytics. No tracking. Nothing about you is sold, to anyone, ever. • Your text and documents are read by Google's Vertex AI so the app can summarise and translate them. Notifications are delivered through Firebase. Nobody else receives your information. • Export everything GuideHer holds about you, at any time, as one file. • Delete your account from inside the app. It removes your profile, diagnosis details, symptom logs, chat history, appointments and devices. WHAT GUIDEHER IS NOT Not a doctor. Not a diagnosis. Not a medical record system: keep your originals with your care team. Not a substitute for your oncologist, your nurse, or emergency services. If you are having chest pain, trouble breathing, a fever, or bleeding you cannot stop, stop reading and call for help. Free for patients. It will stay that way.
