Scrubline Space Launch Tracker

A rocket launch slips. Annoying, but no mystery: the nights behind it were reserved days ago, and this board had them the whole time. Scrubline counts the whole ladder for free, and Pro puts times on it. The trick is boat traffic. Before a launch the range reserves sea space under the flight path: the primary window plus backup nights, published to mariners days to weeks ahead. In the US that is the Coast Guard; elsewhere, whichever service covers that range. Inland ranges, like China's, do the same with airspace instead of sea. That list is the ladder. Not An Official Source — Where The Information Comes From Scrubline is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by any government agency or launch provider, and it does not represent one. It shows a reading of public government publications, and those publications are the authority. Every publication the board is assembled from is named in the app and linked to the publisher's own page, one tap from the board under "Where the data comes from". Never navigate by this app and never make a safety decision on it. The Ladder, And Why Other Apps Do Not Have One Open a mission and the ladder is the screen: the next window with its date and time, then how many backup nights the range reserved behind it. In Pro, each night carries its own time and pad forecast. So a mission another app still calls tonight's launch may already be standing on backup one here. Nearly every launch tracker runs on the same schedule database. A fine database, but it holds one window per launch and no backup field: nowhere to put a ladder. The maritime notices are the other half, and they do not stick around: Scrubline reads them as they are published and keeps what it reads. What Is On The Board • Reserved launch windows for Cape Canaveral and Kennedy, Vandenberg, Starbase, Wallops, Kodiak, Mahia, Kourou and more ranges worldwide • A live countdown to the next reserved window. When a date is really "sometime this month", we say so instead of counting down to it • Receipts per mission: the maritime notice in force, the airspace restriction where one is filed, and the pad forecast • A home-screen launch countdown widget • Can I see it from here: which way to face and, from close enough, how high the rocket must climb to clear your horizon • Our report card, public: how our own alerts performed, per phone brand, bad rows left in Launch Alerts That Do Not Wait On A Push The alert at an hour out, fifteen minutes out and window open is scheduled on your iPhone, not sent over the internet. It fires with no signal, at a viewing site with no bars. On iOS 26 and later, grant alarm access and it rings as a system alarm: through Focus, and surviving a force quit or a restart. What iOS then does to an alert is measured, not promised. No app code runs when one fires, so Alert Health counts only the fires this phone could prove. Scrubline Pro Free gets the board, countdown, receipts, alerts, visibility screen, accuracy record, and the count of backup nights. Pro is the full ladder (a date and hour on every backup night), the scrub rewrite (your alert moves when the window does), and a lens planner that frames the shot before you stand in the dark. What We Skip, On Purpose Only the ranges listed in the app. The main gaps are Russia, where reliable data is not to be had, Korea, and a few smaller ranges. Reserved is not attempted: a window passing unused usually means nobody tried that night, not a scrub. The weather is the public forecast for the range at that hour. No go/no-go number yet: nobody should cancel a hotel on an uncalibrated guess, so none ships before we can publish its accuracy record beside it. No account, no email address.
