Happlookup - Config auditor

Somebody sends you a configuration link and expects you to trust it. Happlookup reads it on this iPhone and tells you what it says, what is wrong with it, and whether it is safe to use — before any of it goes anywhere. WHAT THE LINK ACTUALLY SAYS Paste the text, scan the QR code, pick a photo of one from Photos, or open a file. It is decoded here, with no network at all, into plain labeled rows: the server address and port, the transport, the encryption, the server-name settings, the identifiers, and every option the link carries. Anything Happlookup cannot place gets its own heading rather than disappearing. Passwords and keys stay masked until you tap them, and a value you copy clears itself from the clipboard after about a minute. SIX CHECKS, AND A VERDICT IN THREE WORDS Certificate verification, encryption, cipher strength, server-name settings, obsolete options, and placeholder credentials nobody replaced. Every check that objects is listed by name and severity, and the report says how many checks ran, how many were critical, how many were warnings, and how many passed — so a clean link is called clean instead of being met with silence. The verdict sits at the top: SAFE TO USE, USE WITH CARE, or UNSAFE TO USE. The title and severity of every finding are free, and the most serious one is explained in full, so you can see what you would be paying for. Pro explains the rest, with what to change. A SERVER THIS IPHONE NEVER CONNECTS TO Ask whether the server is really there and the request goes to our testing service, which dials it from its own vantage point and reports back: whether it answered, how long that took, how fast it ran each way, and the address traffic would surface from — the operator, roughly where it sits, and any reputation flags. Your iPhone never touches that server. Three tests a day are free; Pro removes the limit. YOUR OWN CONNECTION, AND WHO ANSWERS YOUR DNS The Network tab opens with what iOS already knows — Wi-Fi, mobile, or wired — before anything leaves. Ask for the lookup and the service describes the address the internet sees you at: the operator, the rough location, how it is classified. The DNS check reads which resolvers this device reports using and names who runs them. Then it looks up three fixed well-known names — through those resolvers, and through an independent encrypted one — and compares the answers. If they agree, the report says so; if they differ, it says that plainly and stops short of a conclusion. A measurement, not an accusation. WHAT LEAVES THIS DEVICE, AND WHEN No account. No analytics. No advertising. No third-party SDKs. Decoding and all six checks run on this iPhone with the network untouched. Exactly four things use it — testing a server, looking up your connection, checking DNS, and fetching a list from an address you typed. None runs on its own: each waits for your tap and states, right where you start it, what is sent and who receives it. The one that carries your password asks before its first send, says so in those words, and can be withdrawn at any time in Settings. Hitting the cap never blocks an analysis — the report still opens in full; it just gets no row. Want no history at all? Turn saving off and nothing new is written. One action, Delete everything, removes the rows, the saved text, and the keys behind them, then tells you exactly what went. Anything saved can be passed on as a QR code, or as a file when it is too long to scan, with a reminder that either one carries the password.
