Meridian: Watch Instruments

Meridian brings four focused instruments together on Apple Watch in a clear, digital display. TIME See the time, seconds, day, and date at a glance. ALTIMETER Check altitude in meters on supported hardware, follow relative elevation changes from the current session, and see a compact recent trend. BAROMETER Read local atmospheric pressure in hPa and see a recent pressure trend. A visual indicator and vibration flag substantial drops in recorded pressure while the app is active. COMPASS See your magnetic heading, cardinal direction, and reported accuracy. The outer indicator helps you locate magnetic north. Tap the four mode buttons to switch instruments. Meridian runs directly on Apple Watch, with no companion iPhone app, login, advertising, or subscription. Its sensor functions do not require an internet connection. Requires watchOS 9 or later. Sensor availability varies by Watch model. Absolute altitude is shown when available; otherwise the app displays relative altitude. Motion and location permissions enable the corresponding instruments. Readings and pressure-drop indicators operate while the app is active. Elevation changes can affect pressure and trigger the indicator. Meridian does not provide weather forecasts, background monitoring, or emergency alerts, and is not a replacement for navigation or weather-safety equipment. Meridian is an app you open, not a system watch face or a complication.
