When the emergency pull cord is activated, it instantly sends a wireless emergency alert. • The Buddie System Receiver – Installed inside the crane cab or machinery. When an alert is received, the device immediately activates a loud audible alarm and highly visible flashing lights, prompting the operator to stop all movements and assess the situation. Each lanyard is paired to its own receiver, ensuring reliable communication between the worker and the machine operator. The system operates wirelessly over long distances and has been successfully demonstrated at ranges exceeding 1 kilometre in real-world conditions.
