Roamr is a social app built around places — not profiles. Every post is pinned to where it's about, so your feed and your map fill up with real spots: the café worth the detour, the viewpoint at golden hour, the hole-in-the-wall you'd text a friend about. You discover by map and by proximity — not by who has the most followers. WHAT MAKES ROAMR DIFFERENT • Place-first posts — share a photo tied to the location it's about, not just your timeline. • Discover by map — explore a living map of places people actually love, near you or anywhere. • Nearby — see what's worth visiting around you right now. • Three feeds — Following, Global, and Nearby. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT • Location is optional and coarse by default — we tag the place a post is about, roughly, never your live position. "Exact" is always your explicit choice. • Public or private profiles, with follow requests for private accounts. • Every post is screened by automated moderation before it goes live.
