Most language apps grade the part that is cheap to grade: tapping the right tile. You can spend a year that way without writing one sentence anybody reads. HyperGlot grades the sentences you write and the ones you say out loud. ONE SET, FOUR EXERCISES, ABOUT SIX MINUTES Ask for a set and you get four exercises, weighted toward whichever skill your results say is weakest, at the level those results put you on. Read a passage and answer questions on it. Hear the same passage instead of seeing it. Fill the gap. Write the email. Record the reply. Nothing is unlocked on a map. The set is built when you ask for it, out of what your last results showed. A skill you struggled with comes back sooner, and words you missed reappear inside later exercises. WRITING COMES BACK CORRECTED Your own text with the changes in place: what was removed, what belongs there instead, and why. Plus a CEFR read of the level your writing demonstrated, which is not always the level you thought you were on. SPEAKING COMES BACK TRANSCRIBED You see the transcript before you see any score, so you can tell "I said it wrong" from "it heard me wrong". Then a review of the reply itself: what worked, what did not land, what to say instead. A recording that fails never blocks you from finishing. TALK, A CONVERSATION PARTNER Pick a topic, then speak or type every turn. Talk answers in text and in voice. At the end of a conversation you get a CEFR-graded read of how it went. READ REAL BOOKS Photograph a page of a paper book and every word on it becomes tappable: translation, grammar, and audio you can read along with. A library of public-domain stories is there to read the same way. START AT THE ALPHABET Below A1 there is a track that begins with the letters, each one with its sound, then greetings, numbers, family, food, time, directions and 14 more topics. The whole beginner track is unlimited on the free plan. FOR TEACHERS AND TUTORS A classroom on HyperGlot is a roster, generated assignments, and every answer your students gave. Pick the skills, the topic, the level and the length, and the engine writes the set: one for the whole class, or one personalized to a single student from their own weak points. You read the corrected writing and the speech transcripts. Item analysis names the question that tripped most of the group and attaches a short drill for exactly the students who missed it. Students join with an eight-character code or an email invite. A classroom never ranks its students. There is no leaderboard to publish and no place for a struggling student to appear last. Separately, the interface itself runs in English, Estonian, Russian, Ukrainian and German. The two settings are independent: read the app in Ukrainian while you learn Estonian.
