Ramble HK

Ramble HK (墟裏聽風, “Listening to the Wind in the Market Town”) is a local ramble map that begins with Hong Kong’s neighbourhoods. Our first stop is Tai Po (大埔). Here, you can discover restaurants, cafés, local shops, streets and cultural spots around the district. Very often, we pass by a street, a shopfront or an old building without really stopping to look. Yet the warmth of a neighbourhood, and the everyday flavours that belong uniquely to Hong Kong, are often hidden in these small details. Ramble HK was created to gather these scattered places across the city and put them back onto the map. You can open the map to see what is nearby, or follow your own pace through markets, shopping arcades, housing estates, side streets and the waterfront. It is a way to rediscover Hong Kong, and to look again at places that may feel both familiar and unfamiliar. At the moment, the app mainly focuses on Tai Po (大埔). More districts in Hong Kong will be added gradually.
