Explore people, trips and places using information already available in your media. PEOPLE AND PLACES, BUILT AROUND YOUR LIBRARY Optional people grouping analyses faces on your device so similar faces can be organised together. The required analysis model may be downloaded when you first use this feature. People groups and face representations used by the Gallery feature remain on your device. Places and trips are created from location metadata already saved inside supported photos. This feature does not require continuous tracking of your device's current location. USEFUL PHOTO AND VIDEO TOOLS Open photos in the built-in editor to rotate or flip them, apply monochrome, warm or cool looks, enhance the image, and reset changes when needed. Play videos with seeking and mute controls, then share or manage them directly from the viewer. You can also use a chosen photo as wallpaper. GALLERY FROM HOME Gallery - Photo, Video & Home can also work as your Android Home app. Browse installed apps, arrange shortcuts and folders, add widgets and swipe from Home into your Gallery. You stay in control of whether to use this optional Home experience. PERMISSIONS WITH A PURPOSE Photo and video access is used to display and manage your complete on-device media library. Media location access supports place and trip views when location metadata exists. Notifications may be used for relevant app updates or foreground work. Wallpaper permission is used only when you choose to set an image as wallpaper. The app contains advertising. Advertising and consent services may process device identifiers, app interaction, diagnostic and approximate-location information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention, subject to available consent choices and the Privacy Policy.
