RTO: Rejected Takeoff Sim

Watch the instruments as the aircraft accelerates, then decide whether to continue takeoff or bring it to a stop. RTO is a small aviation simulator focused on the decision to reject a takeoff. Set thrust, release the parking brake and keep an eye on both engines, the alerts, your speed and the runway remaining. Maintain thrust to continue, or bring the lever back to idle to reject. Flights do not all unfold the same way. Runway surface, aircraft weight, runway length and V1 vary. A fault can affect either engine and appear at different stages of the takeoff. A vibration may settle or develop into a loss of thrust. Some flights have no fault at all. Make your decision using the information available at the time. If you reject, keep working until you stop. The RTO autobrake activates during a high-speed rejection when available. At lower speeds, or with an autobrake fault, hold the brake control to slow down. You can also select reverse thrust on the engines that remain available. Once stopped, read the cabin report and choose whether to keep passengers seated or order an evacuation. If you continue takeoff, maintain thrust through the initial climb. Pitch control is automatic. Review the flight and try again.
