Krokuj – Maths for Kids

Krokuj is a calm maths game for children aged 6 to 8 (first and second grade). Instead of drilling facts, children discover maths in environments they love coming back to. SIX WORLDS • Bus: people get on and off. How many are inside? • Addition triangles: numbers that fit together. • Snakes: steps up and down the number line. • Cube buildings: floor plans, columns and counting cubes. • Stepping: the hedgehog walks forwards and backwards over stones. • Puzzles: number triples, addition tables, the gnome’s equations and podium orders, often with more than one solution. LEARNING WITHOUT PRESSURE • No timers, no points, never “wrong”. When something doesn’t fit, the hedgehog says where, never what. • Every correct solution counts, even one you didn’t expect. • Hints show how to think, not the answer. • Tasks are generated, so they never repeat. Difficulty rises by itself and never drops. REWARDS THAT ONLY GROW A journey map, a sticker album, badges for exploring, a gallery of the child’s own work, the hedgehog’s story and a house of their own that slowly grows into a whole village.
