LumaSync

LumaSync is a cycle calendar that helps you stay one step ahead of your period. Log your period and how you feel, and LumaSync shows when your next period will most likely start: always with a range and an answer to where the date comes from. An account is optional, and there are no ads and no tracking. PREDICTIONS WITH AN HONEST RANGE • Days until your period and the expected date with a range, for example ±3 days. Cycles naturally vary, so an honest prediction is a range, not a single day. • "Where does this date come from?" shows how many cycles the prediction is based on, how long they lasted on average and how much they varied. • "How predictions work" explains the method and lists the scientific sources. CALENDAR, DAILY LOG AND INSIGHTS • A month and year calendar with clear markers for logged periods, predicted periods and today. Each state has its own shape, not just its own colour. • Daily log: bleeding, mood, symptoms, discharge, sexual activity, test results, pill, measurements, sleep, water and a note. Plus your own tags for anything that is not on the list. • Insights: average cycle and period length, variation, cycle history, a chart of your cycle lengths over the last year, symptoms by cycle phase and symptoms cycle by cycle. • Today’s insights: what is happening in your body on each cycle day with a chart of the typical hormone curve, a report after every cycle and when your logged symptoms come back in your cycles. • A PDF report of your cycles and symptoms from the last year to show your doctor. It is created on your phone, without your notes, and you decide who gets it. • Library: articles and quizzes on your cycle, body, sex, pregnancy and perimenopause, reviewed by gynaecologists, with sources under every text. MODES • Cycle tracking, trying to conceive, pregnancy and perimenopause. When trying to conceive you can log ovulation tests, temperature and cervical mucus, with reminders of your likely fertile days. In pregnancy you see the week of pregnancy and an approximate due date instead of a period prediction, and after pregnancy predictions return from your first period. In perimenopause predictions use a wider margin, because cycles change. REMINDERS • Before your period, on its expected first and last day, five days ahead to log symptoms, for your daily log, your pill and other medications, weighing and drinking water. Your phone schedules them, not our server. • Discreet mode: notifications without details. WIDGET AND APPLE HEALTH • A home screen widget with your cycle ring and the days until your period. In discreet mode it never mentions your period. • Works with Apple Health, if you turn it on: LumaSync saves your period and measurements there and brings in data from other apps. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Dates, symptoms and notes are stored on your phone, encrypted. Without an account we send them nowhere. • We have no access to your cycle data and we never sell it. • An optional account with Sign in with Apple or Google keeps a cloud backup encrypted on your phone with a key we do not know: the same entries on several phones and on a new phone. • No ads and no third party advertising or analytics tools. • App lock with biometrics or your phone passcode. • Export to a JSON or CSV file at any time. JSON moves your entries to a new phone. • Delete all data in the app settings. LOOK AND LANGUAGE • Light and dark theme, following your system or your choice. • Luma, a firefly, guides your first steps and keeps you company on the Today screen. • English, Polish and Ukrainian. FREE AND AD FREE The cycle calendar, period prediction, reminders, export and data deletion in LumaSync are free and ad free. IMPORTANT LumaSync is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Predictions are estimates based on your logs, and your doctor or midwife sets the week of pregnancy and due date. If something worries you, talk to a doctor or a midwife.
