Yard Buddy on Apple Watch is not a mirror of your phone — it holds the course itself and measures from your wrist. Leave the phone in the cart. Your yardage is still right when you walk to your ball. Say it out loud. Tap the speaker and it reads the distance, so you can keep your glove on and your eyes on the shot. HOW IT WORKS Pick your course from the ones nearest you. Walk. The hole changes by itself as you move up the course, and you can turn the crown to change it yourself any time. Every yardage is measured from exactly where you stand. COURSES More than 6,000 courses across 49 states, and growing every week. Search by name, town or street. If we do not have yours, searching for it tells us to add it. SUBSCRIPTION The phone app is free. The Apple Watch app needs a Watch Monthly or Watch Yearly subscription.
