buster7 is a base station client app designed for developers running multiple CLI coding agents (such as Claude Code and Codex) side by side. [Architecture] Run the Rust-based server on your own Mac or workstation and connect to it using this Flutter-powered native client. Since sessions are fully maintained on your server, operations continue seamlessly even if you close the app or lose connection. Access and monitor the exact same sessions across your Mac and mobile devices. [Key Features] - Kanban Board: View all active, waiting, and completed agent sessions at a single glance. - Dual View: Inspect any session through either a raw Terminal view (direct CLI TUI) or a structured Chat view (message by message). - Tab System: One tab per session, complete with closing confirmation dialogs to prevent accidental session termination. - File Explorer: Tap file paths emitted in the terminal to inspect them directly, paired with an integrated file list. - Adaptive UI: Tailored interfaces for touch and mouse interactions, automatically collapsing panes on smaller displays. - Notifications: Alerts for agent idle states and task completions. - Tooling Support: Includes the b7 CLI utility and 21 MCP tools. [Lightweight Architecture] By buffering terminal lines rather than allocating separate processes per PTY, adding terminals does not inflate process counts. In benchmarks with 8 concurrent sessions (including 3 Claude instances and 1 under heavy load), memory consumption was measured at just 147 MB across 2 processes. Reasoning and execution are handled entirely by your own CLI agents (Claude Code, Codex, etc.). buster7 does not orchestrate agents autonomously or own conversation states. - Currently under active development; known issues remain regarding Japanese text input and certain terminal rendering behaviors.
