The piece sells for twelve dollars instead of forty, and you knew better. Lights, Camera, Live gives you the words. HOW IT WORKS - Photograph each piece in the order you will hold it up. Shoot fast; the lines arrive while you keep going. - Every piece comes back with one or two sentences written to be SAID, not read - short enough for the eight seconds you actually have. - Under each line: what to say when somebody in the chat asks about a mark, a length, a clasp. "Let me flip it over and check the back." - Tap GO LIVE and the screen fills with one piece at a time, in type you can read at arm's length. Swipe to the next. The screen stays awake. - Mark a piece sold with your thumb as you go. What is left at the end is your list of what still needs listing. IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU Point it at a report of your own listings - the file you can download from eBay or Etsy - and it reads how you write: how you open, the words you reach for, how you state condition. It never names a maker from a photograph, only from a mark you can read yourself. It never calls unmarked metal silver or gold, never names a gemstone off a picture, and never uses the word rare. A claim made out loud on video is still a claim, and it is the only description your buyer gets. LOT NUMBERS Live selling platforms need the item listed before you can sell it.
