Dual Cam REC Sync

Dual Cam REC Sync is an iPhone app that uses PTP recording control for Sony cameras to send start/stop commands to two cameras connected via USB. (Tested camera: Sony ZV-E1) It executes parallel command transmission to both cameras. There is a slight discrepancy in the exact timing of command issuance to the two cameras. TESTED CAMERA Sony ZV-E1 This app uses Sony-specific PTP recording control commands. Compatibility with camera models other than the Sony ZV-E1 has not been verified and requires testing by the user. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Although the app uses parallelized command transmission, it does not guarantee that recording will start or stop at exactly the same time on both cameras. Frame-level synchronization accuracy is not guaranteed. The app does not automatically retrieve the cameras' recording states. After sending a recording command, check the REC indicators on both cameras. We recommend performing a brief recording and stopping it immediately before the main recording to prepare the cameras for recording. Two compatible cameras and a wired USB connection to the iPhone are required.
