Take a photo or choose one from your library, then receive an AI-assisted description of the scene. Macro Lens is designed to support observation and learning; it is not a scientific identification or medical tool. Keep your own Field Notes with an image, description, location, and privacy choice. Your submitted notes remain in your Field Archive while they go through community moderation and are not placed in the public Explore feed automatically. Start a Moss Walk for a local gathering, choose whether participants need host approval, and manage join requests. The activity is organized in the app and takes place outdoors. The Micro-habitat Map helps you compare nearby observation areas and use your location when you choose to grant access.
