Microphone audio is processed briefly in memory and is never recorded to a file or sent to a server. On iPhone, the camera estimates ambient brightness without saving images. Language and haptic preferences are stored locally. Missing sensor permissions reduce the available inputs. Measurement stops when the app becomes inactive. CringeGuard is entertainment, not a prediction of romantic success, consent, another person’s feelings, or a medical assessment. A lower score only describes the app’s estimate of the environment.
