BrainSpeak is your voice recorder with transcription. Capture ideas and conversations, turn speech into text, and find the details you need later. RECORD AND LISTEN AGAIN Create voice notes on iPhone and iPad, or capture audio on Apple Watch while on the go. A recording started on iPhone can continue in the background and while the screen is locked. Replay your saved recordings whenever you need them. TURN SPEECH INTO USEFUL NOTES Keep the original transcript and use Apple Intelligence to create polished text, summaries and facts. Add preferred spellings for names and specialist vocabulary, or try Calm and Emoji text variations. ASK ABOUT YOUR RECORDINGS Chat answers questions using selected excerpts from your saved original transcripts and links to the relevant recordings. It does not necessarily search your entire library. Answers may be incomplete, especially when questions and recordings use different languages. PRIVATE CLOUD COMPUTE Speech recognition processes audio on your device. With your explicit consent, BrainSpeak sends transcript excerpts and chat questions to Apple Private Cloud Compute for AI analysis. If PCC is unavailable or fails because of network, quota or service problems, Apple’s on-device model can take over when ready. No third-party model is used. Audio and text can sync between your devices through your private iCloud account when available. STAY IN CONTROL Search your library, export audio and available text, or delete recordings. No separate BrainSpeak account is required. Original recordings on Apple Watch remain after transfer and can be deleted directly on the Watch. REQUIREMENTS PCC requires iOS 27, a supported device, enabled Apple Intelligence, internet access and available PCC access and quota. Local fallback requires supported hardware and a downloaded Apple model. AI results may contain errors; compare them with the original transcript and audio. Original recordings remain accessible when AI is unavailable. iCloud sync requires an available iCloud account, network access and sufficient storage. The interface is available in English and German. The Watch follows the app language of the paired iPhone.
