MDM Sidekick is a Jamf Pro client for the times you are not at your desk. Sign in with your server address and your Jamf Pro account, and your inventory is in your hand. LOOK THINGS UP • Computers, mobile devices, users, groups, policies, configuration profiles, scripts, packages, PreStages and more: 30 record types in all. • Search computers by name, serial number or username. The search runs on your server, so it works on a fleet of thousands. • Every record shows every field your server returns. Long press to copy a serial number or an IP address. ADVANCED MODE Off by default. Turn it on in Settings when you need to change something. • Edit records in a form with text fields and switches. Before anything is saved you see each change as before and after, and only the fields you touched are sent. • Manage a Mac: lock with a PIN, restart, shut down, log out the user, set Recovery Lock, redeploy the management framework, renew the MDM profile, erase. • Manage an iPhone or iPad: lock, clear the passcode, Lost Mode, play a sound, update inventory, rename, erase. • Look up a FileVault recovery key, a Recovery Lock password or a LAPS password. • API explorer: every operation your server's own API schema lists, searchable, with the request pre-filled. Commands that interrupt someone ask you to confirm. Erase stays disabled until you type the device's name. BUILT FOR ADMINS WHO WORRY • HTTPS only. Your password goes to the server you typed and nowhere else. • The saved login, if you want one, lives in the iOS Keychain on this device only. • No analytics, no tracking, no account with us. We never see your data. • Your Jamf Pro account's privileges decide what you can do. A read-only account stays read-only. TRY IT FIRST Tap "Try the demo server" on the sign-in screen for a pretend school with 64 Macs. Nothing there is real, so lock and erase all you like. Needs a Jamf Pro server and a standard Jamf Pro user account. Accounts that sign in through single sign-on cannot be used. Advanced mode is free for now.
