Your photo library holds moments worth seeing again. Photo Memories brings photos from your authorized iPhone library back into view, combining random discovery with preferences learned on your device. No account or photo-processing server is required. • Browse one photo at a time against a black background, or choose large photo cards, a two-column grid, or a photo journal. • New recommendations arrive in batches of up to five, informed by effective viewing, favorites and organizing activity. • Keep up to 1,000 effective read records. Return to your place within a 30-minute browsing session. When eligible memories run out, choose to revisit or take a break. • See hashtags from available photo dates, system photo types, favorites and authorized albums. The app does not read Apple's private person names or object labels. • Write private notes that stay in the app, or intentionally share an image using the system share sheet. • Create local albums and swipe to collect or remove photo relationships without deleting originals. • Control recommendations with filters for screenshots, photo types, dates, dimensions and available source albums. • Suspected sensitive documents are checked on device and excluded from recommendations by default. Detection can miss or incorrectly exclude photos and is not a guarantee. • Use selected-photo access, optional one-time location, an iCloud-download toggle, and local-data controls. App favorites, notes and local album relationships do not change Apple Photos and are not synchronized or backed up to the cloud. Deleting the app loses these records. Live Photos currently display still frames; videos are not recommended. If on-demand downloading is enabled, Apple may retrieve images from your iCloud account. Images you intentionally share are handled by your selected sharing destination. English and Simplified Chinese are available, with an in-app language choice.
