Go Time is a game clock for people who play Go over the board — and a camera that writes the game record for you. ■ A CLOCK YOU SIT ACROSS FROM Put the phone between you. Top and bottom are the clocks for Black and White; press your side and your opponent's time starts. Big digits and a clear sound when time is nearly up. Pause, reset and the other controls appear only when you shake the phone, so a hand brushing the screen mid-game won't stop the clock. ■ TIME, YOUR WAY • Main time plus Japanese byo-yomi (periods × seconds) • Fischer increment per move • Different settings for Black and White when you play a handicap game • Your last setup is remembered — set it once and it is the same next time ■ TWO PHONES, ONE CLOCK Prefer your own phone in front of you? Link two phones over Bluetooth. One creates the room, the other joins, and each player presses their own screen. The clock stays in sync — no Wi-Fi or account needed. ■ A PHOTO AFTER EVERY MOVE Have a spare phone? Put it on a stand over the board, connect it as the camera, and it takes a picture each time the clock is pressed. When the game ends, the day's photos are kept together as one set — the whole game, move by move, without anyone touching a camera. ■ PHOTOS BECOME A GAME RECORD Go Time reads the stones from those photos and builds a digital record. It only needs to find the one new stone in each shot, so it works under ordinary room lighting. Check each move, correct anything the camera got wrong, then replay the game or export it as SGF to study in any Go program. ■ YOUR GAMES, KEPT • Game list with search and favorites • SGF import, including files from Korean, Japanese and Chinese Go sites (CP949, Shift_JIS, GBK …) • Move-by-move replay with the photo beside the board • Share SGF files with a tap ■ ADS AND SUBSCRIPTION The app is free with ads. An optional monthly subscription removes all ads. Payment is charged to your App Store account on purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
