WHAT THIS APP IS FOR The Hey Shopping Pro app replaces the paper grocery list we usually take to the store. Such a digital version has certain advantages over a paper list. It lives on our phone, which is always with us. After the store, the paper list is usually thrown away and the app saves our previous entries. We have to write a paper list from scratch every time, whereas the app remembers our shopping history, allowing us to quickly and easily select the items we need today. Finally, the app offers a better experience than a simple paper list thanks to extra features—such as an attractive design, quick product search, and category-based organization. Shopping is more enjoyable when we have a plan; it turns the process into an engaging activity. We create a plan (a list), head to the store, find the items we need, and check them off as we buy them. Almost like a quest in a video game. It is especially fun when we are planning to cook a delicious meal or stocking up on groceries for the week. Some people make a shopping list together, and this adds enjoyment to their family life. HOW IT WORKS The app features two product lists: - The first is a master list containing all the items you have ever purchased. This saves you from having to recall them from scratch every time. - The second is your shopping list for the day. You can simply select items for it from the master list. When heading to the store, you create a shopping list. The app saves this list so you can reuse it later; this becomes your master list. You can edit the list—adding new items or modifying or deleting existing ones. You can also add comments to product names. Additionally, you can specify which store (or stores) carry the item and assign it to a specific category—such as Produce, Meat&Seafood, Pantry, or Household Supplies, Personal Care, Health, etc. This helps you filter the list to display only the items you need on the screen: for example, items for a specific store or a particular aisle within a store, which is very convenient. While shopping, you can mark items as purchased simply by tapping their names on the screen. They will be crossed out, just like on a paper list, but digitally. Next time, you can clear your shopping list with a single tap and create a new one by selecting items from the master list.
