The Nova Grid

The Nova Grid is a quiet puzzle game about placing abstract symbol cards on a board and reading the patterns they make. Every card carries one of eight original symbols. Put three or more of the same symbol into a row or column and they resolve and clear. Fill every open cell in a line and the whole line goes with it. Resolve on back to back moves and your chain multiplier climbs, so the order you place things in matters as much as where you put them. Puzzle Path Twenty four hand built levels, each with its own board and its own goal. Some ask for a score, some ask you to clear a set number of lines, some ask you to resolve one particular symbol again and again, and some ask you to hold a chain together. New symbols arrive as you go, and later boards add sealed cells you cannot place on, along with a wild symbol that stands in for whatever sits beside it. A limited number of hints will point out the strongest placement you have left. Dice Arena Five dice with abstract faces, and three tables that open up as you work through the levels. Roll, hold the dice you want to keep, roll again, then claim a goal to bank it. Goals ask for three alike, two pairs, a spread of different symbols, a ladder of consecutive symbols, a combined total, or a pair of one named symbol. Turns are limited, so deciding which goal to take and when is the real puzzle. Daily Nova Challenge One board a day, built from the date, so everyone gets the same grid. Solve it to keep your streak going. Your last seven days stay on the screen as a simple record you can look back on. Collection Forty three cards spread across five constellations plus a few relics, each with a short note about where it came from. Duplicates are not wasted. Fuse three copies of a card and you get one card from the next constellation up. Constellation Twelve milestones laid out as a star map rather than a list. Nodes light up as you reach them. Practice An open board with no goal and no effect on your progress, for when you just want to place symbols and see how they fall. You can set the pace in Settings. Gentle gives you more hints and a roomier board, Steady is the intended balance, and Relentless tightens the move budget and cuts the hints back. Haptics and reminders live there too. Everything is decided by how you place and how you plan. Scores are your own records and there is nothing at stake but a better one.
