Petal Path

Petal Path is a single player tile puzzle set in a quiet garden pond. Mahjong gives the game its vocabulary of suits, runs, pungs, kongs, winds and dragons, but the game itself is about placement. You draw tiles from the wall and set them onto a seven by seven board. Tiles stay where you put them until they complete a meld, and then they bloom into petals and clear away. How it plays Place a tile beside its neighbours to build a pair, a run, a pung or a kong. The moment a set is complete the tiles bloom and score. A prevailing wind turns every few moves and doubles the suit it favours, so timing matters as much as position. Every bloom charges the dragon meter, which unlocks three powers. Blaze clears a stubborn square, Growth refreshes your hand, and Void throws away a tile you cannot use. Stones drift in over time and take up room, so a tidy board is a safe board. Five modes Bloom runs endlessly and asks only for your best score. Gale gives you two minutes and rewards fast reading of the board. Garden Path walks you through twenty four handmade levels, each with its own goal and petal rating. Daily Seed deals the same shuffle to every player each day and keeps your streak. Zen Pond has no timer, no move limit and no way to lose. Also inside Twelve badges to earn. Lifetime statistics for blooms, tiles placed and best streaks.
