Petal Steps is a quiet herbarium for small, intentional accomplishments. Press a petal when something modest is finished or when your attention rests without being asked. Each entry is a quiet triumph or an attentive moment, classified in a personal archive you shape yourself. Record titles and notes, choose a softness, and optionally attach a photograph of the moment using the system picker. Flexible classifications (with their own color washes) keep understated actions from disappearing into a generic list. Demo garden pages appear only on first launch so you can see the press, the path, and the dewline immediately; they never overwrite a garden you have already saved. Path is today’s stepping stones: the petals of this day, a keepsake ribbon of pinned tenderness, and a pressed prompt you can answer or replace from a prompt library that includes your own questions. Soft recitation stitches recent petals into a short local reading — hush, warm, or spare — without inventing a voice from the cloud. Press is the archive. Search titles and notes, filter by kind, classification, or keepsake, and sort by newest, oldest, softness, or title. Edit and release petals with confirmation. Releasing a classification moves remaining petals into another class; the last classification cannot be removed. Filaments are bloom threads: named gatherings of related petals you reread as a quiet narrative, not as a habit chain. Assign a petal to a thread, edit the filament, or release it without deleting the petals. Dewline shows presence gathering on a stem. Beads swell with the day’s acknowledgements; empty days are dry nodes, never a broken streak. Compare two quiet intervals (7/7, 14/14, or 15/15 days) to see how triumph and attention shifted, which classification washed each interval, and a plain-language insight. Kind balance and classification counts stay tied to your own notes. Settings offers System, Light, and Dark appearance, recitation tone, Rate App (opens the App Store), Share App, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use. Everything stays on this iPhone, with atomic saves and a last-good garden copy if a file is damaged. Petal Steps is not a repetition grid, a desk of wick timers, or a streak tracker. It is a companion for slowing down until the smallest understated actions feel like enough.
