Medic Corps Ops is the working tool for a disaster relief team. It holds the map, the record of what was found at each place, and the conversation about what to do next — and it keeps working when the network does not. BUILT FOR THE FIELD Responses happen where the infrastructure has failed. The operational area and its map are cached to each device before anyone drives out, so the map, the locations and the records stay available with no signal at all. Work done offline syncs when a connection comes back. THE MAP IS THE APP Open it and you see where you are and what is around you. Drop a location, walk up to it, and record what you find. The nearest location opens with one press, so somebody standing in a driveway is not hunting through a list. A RECORD THAT MATCHES THE WORK Each location carries an overall assessment — population, the most urgent need, medical priorities, landing zones, road access, fuel — alongside photographs and the details of the local contact. Communications installations are recorded separately, because the people who service equipment and the people who record household needs are not the same people and should not see the same data. TALK ABOUT A PLACE, WHERE THE PLACE IS Every location has its own conversation, and every response has a room for everyone working it. The family at an address can be given access to their own location and nothing else, so they can say what they need directly to the team, and see what is coming. Notifications are set per conversation, so nobody is buried under messages about places they are not working. ROLES THAT MATCH THE ORGANIZATION Access is decided by role and enforced by the server. Volunteers and team leaders see the response they are on. Coordinators run it. Communications liaisons service equipment across every response and never see household data. Local contacts see one location. Nobody sees a screen full of things they cannot use. TAGS AND CODES Tap an NFC tag at a communications centre and the device joins its network without the password ever appearing on screen. Scan the code on a location's card and it opens.
