Type what you need - "90x45 MGP10 H2 treated pine 3.0m", "10mm plasterboard 1200x3000", "R2.5 wall batts" - set the job address (or tap GPS) and a radius, 20 km by default. TradeRadar checks the hardware stores, timber yards, plasterboard, plumbing, electrical and building-supply outlets inside that radius, researches the prices they currently advertise, and lists the offers cheapest first with a distance badge on each. Suppliers are ranked by who has the best pricing. Live search also picks up second-hand and surplus stock from private sellers on Gumtree and Facebook Marketplace, with a one-tap link to check those sites yourself. From any result: open the listing, get directions, or call the yard. Save a price to your price book, or add the item to a job list. PRICE BOOK Record the quotes, shelf tickets and invoice prices you see on site. Every live search result is kept as history, so next time you already know what the material cost last month and where. COMMUNITY PRICES Found a great price? Add it - snap the shelf ticket or quote - and share it. Other tradies searching near that supplier see it with your name on it; they can confirm it ("I saw this too") or report it if it's wrong. Prices you don't share stay private to you. JOB LISTS Build a materials list per job. TradeRadar works out which single supplier is cheapest for the whole list and what a best-split order would cost, then drafts quote-request emails to the suppliers inside your radius - you send them from your own mail app. SUPPLIERS ON A MAP Nearby suppliers are found automatically (OpenStreetMap data) and shown on a map.
