About
Know what you're really eating. Point your camera at the nutrition table on any packaged food sold in India. LabelSaaf reads it and gives you a health score out of 100 — with the reason behind every point. HOW IT WORKS • Photograph the nutrition table, or choose a photo you already took. • Get a score from 0 to 100 and a plain verdict: Great choice, Okay in moderation, Think twice, Eat less often, or Avoid regularly. • Open "Why this score" to see the exact points. Sugar, sodium, saturated fat and energy pull a score down; fibre, protein and fruit, veg & legumes lift it; rated additives can cost points. Sodium is weighed against FSSAI's 2,000 mg daily reference, and sugar against an ICMR-NIN band. THE SAME SCORE FOR EVERYONE A pack scores the same for every person who scans it. Vitamins and minerals never lift a score. And when we improve how we score, your saved scans show you both the new score and the one you originally saw — nothing changes silently. WATCH FOR WHAT MATTERS TO YOU Choose what you want called out on every label: added sugar, sodium or saturated fat; the allergens Indian labels must declare, such as milk, nuts, gluten or soy; and ingredients packs don't have to declare, like palm oil, maida, vanaspati or caffeine. You can also flag pure veg or Jain. Your choices change what we flag — never the score. A flag is a heads-up, not a medical allergy check, so always read the pack too. ASK LABEL AI (BETA) Ask a question about a pack you scanned — why sodium cost the most, or what a serving really adds up to. Answers come from the label as we read it. COMPARE AND SHARE Put two packs side by side before you choose. Share a verdict card with family on WhatsApp or anywhere else. YOUR SCANS, SAVED Every scan is kept in your history so you can come back to it, search it and compare it. PRIVACY Photos from successful scans are not stored. You can delete your account and all your scans from inside the app at any time. We don't sell your data or show ads. Read more at labelsaaf.com/privacy. LabelSaaf gives general nutrition information from what a label prints. It is not medical advice. If you have a health condition, an allergy or are pregnant, speak to your doctor.Read more
