Nanuli: Record a Bedtime Story

Usually you read and they listen. In Nanuli, your child has a part. Every story makes them the hero, by name: the hedgehog who is not sleepy at all, the smallest goat on the troll's bridge, the little pig who builds with bricks. They say the hero's lines, you read the rest, and then the story plays back on its own, the pictures moving to your voices. Watch their face the first time they hear themselves. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick a story. Every line is marked, and the app tells you whose turn it is. 2. Record it together, one scene at a time. Can't read yet? Whisper each line and they say it back. Redo any part until it sounds right. 3. Press play. The pictures move to your voices, and it plays as often as they ask. QUESTIONS Can a three-year-old do this? Yes. You whisper the line, they say it out loud in their own way. The stories are written for ages 3 to 6. How long does it take? A story is about four minutes of reading, in eight short scenes. You can record one in an evening. Isn't this one more screen at bedtime? The player is dark and the words are hidden unless you turn them on. No autoplay, no feed, no next episode. When the story ends, the room goes quiet. Where do the recordings go? Nowhere. There is no account, and your recordings and your child's name stay on this device unless you send them yourself. Delete them in Settings and they are gone for good. The app counts anonymous steps, like a story played to the end, and you can switch that off in Settings. Can grandma hear it? Save any finished story as a video or an audio file and send it to her. What if we cancel? The stories you have already recorded keep playing.
