Drawn from the written record Every case is built from what people actually wrote down. Depositions, coroners' inquests, Society for Psychical Research proceedings, parish letters, newspaper columns. Mary Ricketts set down what happened at Hinton Ampner in 1772 and her account is still there to be read. No claim of the supernatural is made anywhere in the app. The Register records what was said, by whom, and how well it stands up. Each case takes about fifteen minutes to read, or three to listen to, with narration for every one. Give your finding, then hear the Register's Before the Register gives its reading, you give yours. Explained, unexplained, fraud, or unsupported. Only then does it show its own assessment, scored on independent witnesses, corroboration, natural explanation and the conduct of the inquiry, with a written verdict that will sometimes disagree with you.
