ptracker shows the people in your groups on a live map. That's it. There is no company behind this and no business model. It makes no money, shows no ads, and sells nothing — including your location. HOW IT WORKS Create a group, share the join code, and everyone who joins appears on one map. Your phone shares its position in the background, so the map stays current without anyone having to open the app. FOR FAMILIES AND SMALL GROUPS • See where everyone is on a single live map • Save places like Home, Work or Gym — your family sees the name ("At Gym"), never the exact spot • Choose a family role in each group • Invite people with a simple join link • Share your own position temporarily with a link, even to people without an account BUILT FOR THE BACKGROUND Location is reported natively by the app, not by a web page — it keeps working with the app closed and the screen off. You choose how often to report, trading precision against battery. PRIVACY We collect only what the service needs to run: your email, a display name, a password stored only as an Argon2id hash, your groups, your devices, and the positions your phone sends. Positions are kept for a limited period and then deleted. Sharing is off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time.
