Outrigger SSH

An SSH terminal for iPhone. SECURITY The default key is generated inside the Secure Enclave and cannot be exported, and every use of it requires Face ID. Saved passwords and API keys are encrypted by the Enclave, sealed to your device, and never enter a backup. No accounts, no telemetry, and no servers of ours: your traffic goes to your hosts and nowhere else. SESSIONS When the app is backgrounded or the network drops, Outrigger reconnects as soon as it can, with scrollback intact. Add a one-line tmux startup command and every connect reattaches to the same server-side session. The assist can read what happened while you were away and summarize it: what finished, what failed, what's waiting. NAVIGATION A configurable key rail keeps esc, tab, ctrl, arrows, and interrupts one thumb away, on whichever edge of the screen you choose. Drag the screen to step through command history; flip a toggle to scroll the buffer instead. The keyboard shows and hides only when you ask. Rotate for a split layout with snippets beside the terminal. TABS Open up to eight shells on one authenticated connection. New tabs open instantly, with no re-login and no extra Face ID. Rename them, reorder them, and jump to any tab from the host list. THE ASSIST On supported iPhones the assist runs entirely on device: explain the last output, summarize the session, or draft a command. Drafts land at your prompt and you press return; nothing generated executes itself. You can instead add your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key, and requests go directly from your phone to your provider. PRICING The free version does not expire: one host, five snippets, the on-device assist, and four house themes. A single $24.99 purchase unlocks everything else: unlimited hosts and snippets, cloud assist with your own key, and the community theme pack. No subscription.
