About

Retrolift is a workout log built for calisthenics — the kind of training where progress means a harder version of the movement, not just another plate. LEVELS, NOT JUST WEIGHT Every exercise can carry a ladder: tuck → advanced tuck → straddle → full for the levers and planche, negative → full → archer → one arm for pull ups, wall → free for the handstand. Each set logs the level it was done at, so history stays honest when you move up a rung — and drops back down on a bad day. LOAD THE WAY YOU ACTUALLY TRAIN Bodyweight, added kilos, a resistance band by its width, or a level — one per exercise, chosen per workout. Weighted pull ups are just pull ups with +KG. Band-assisted dips are dips with a band. Same exercise, same history. BAR, RINGS OR PARALLETTES Mark what an exercise was done on. Ring dips and bar dips keep separate trails: your previous numbers, your bests and your chart never mix them up. THE SESSION Tap a set, type the numbers on a keypad built for it, and the rest timer starts on its own — with a hold stopwatch for timed work, a countdown that keeps running in the background, and an alarm when the rest is over. Ghost values carry your last numbers down the list so a logged set is one tap away. Notes stay with the exercise from workout to workout. THE PLAN Build workouts from a library of 38 calisthenics movements — pull ups to pullovers, planche to press to handstand, skin the cat to the middle split — each with its progression ladder, or add your own. Group them into warm-up, skill work, strength and stretching, drag them into order, and finish with the option to update the plan to what you just did. THE PROGRESS One chart, no configuration: the level you climbed, the weight you added or the reps you did, with rings and bands marked on the line. Bodyweight tracking with a goal line. A frequency map, your favourite workout, your bests per exercise. RETRO ON PURPOSE Monospace type, hard pixels, four colours and hand-drawn athletes for every movement. Light and dark. iPhone only. FREE Retrolift is free, with nothing locked. Use it as a guest and your data stays on this phone; sign in with Apple to keep it on your Apple ID. If it earns a place in your training, there's a tip jar in Settings.Read more
