Stop re-typing your dive data into MySSI by hand. FitDive reads a Garmin dive computer's own .fit file and logs it straight into your MySSI e-logbook - the dive site, date, time, max depth, water temperature, and gas mix, all filled in automatically. Share a dive from the Garmin Dive app, or pick a .fit file from your phone, and it's logged in seconds. WHAT IT DOES - Decodes your Garmin dive computer's own file format directly - no manual entry, no copying numbers off a screen. - Works out the dive site from the file's own GPS, falling back to your phone's location if the file has none. - Checks your existing MySSI logbook before submitting: warns you if a dive number already exists so you never accidentally double-log a dive, and tells a genuinely open number apart from a real duplicate - showing exactly which dives it falls between either way. - Shows you the full dive summary before it submits anything, and you can edit any field first. BEYOND THE BASICS - An optional Add Details screen fills in the rest of your MySSI log: dive discipline, entry type, water body and conditions, gear and gas - all quick pickers, none of it required, and Nitrox is detected automatically once O2% crosses 23%. - Sync your MySSI dive buddies once, with their photos, then pick who was on the dive from a searchable list. Set a favorite buddy and it's pre-selected automatically on every import. TRACK YOUR DIVES, NOT JUST IMPORT THEM - A depth/temperature profile graph on every import, plotted straight from your dive computer's own second-by-second data - not just the max/average numbers. - "My SSI Logbook" - a real, read-only view of your actual MySSI logbook right inside FitDive: dive #, date, site, depth, duration, matched automatically against your own Garmin data. No browser needed. - Import your whole Garmin history in one pass: request a full data export from Garmin Connect and FitDive checks every dive in it against your MySSI logbook, showing exactly what's already logged and what's still missing - even years of dives you never touched with FitDive. - FitDive remembers which dives it's already sent (or you chose to skip), and asks before re-importing one by accident - including a check for a dive logged from a different timezone than where you actually dove. - Made a mistake on a dive? Delete it right from FitDive and re-import it correctly - no need to fix it by hand in MySSI. Verified dives and Education dives can't be deleted, so your certified history stays safe. - Add a private dive site with a map - your favorite local spot doesn't need a public listing. Drop a pin (starting from your dive computer's own GPS, or your current location), name it, and it's saved to your MySSI account, reusable on every future dive there. - Your local import history, including saved depth profiles, backs up to iCloud automatically, so a new device or reinstall doesn't start from zero.
