Gavrel: Channel Lab

Gavrel: Channel Lab is an offline workspace for recording, comparing, and understanding Wi-Fi observations that you enter manually. Create a personal journal with network names, frequency bands, channels, channel widths, and signal levels, then update saved entries whenever your setup changes. Visualize nominal channel overlap based on the band, channel, and width values you provide to better understand how different configurations relate to one another. Compare two saved observations side by side to review differences in recorded values and channel coverage. Use the built-in signal calculator to explore relationships between manually entered signal, noise, and reference levels. Gavrel works entirely offline, keeping your observations, comparisons, and calculations available without an internet connection. It is useful for documenting router configurations, organizing readings collected with other tools, or learning how Wi-Fi channels and widths relate. Gavrel does not scan nearby networks, measure live signal strength, test internet speed, or detect real interference. All charts and calculations are based exclusively on the information you enter, and channel diagrams represent nominal frequency coverage rather than live spectrum measurements.
