About
Remember what worked on your machine. Serger Recipes is a personal settings notebook for serger and overlocker sewists. Save a successful test with its machine, fabric, thread, needle, stitch, and settings—then find it again when you are sewing similar fabric. SAVE YOUR SETUP • Record needle and looper tensions, differential feed, stitch length, width, and cutting width. • Keep the machine, fabric, stretch, thread, needle, stitch type, and notes together. • Add front and back photos of your test swatch. • Tag a recipe in your own words, for the groupings fabric and stitch cannot capture. • As you type, see what you saved before on the same machine for the same fabric or stitch. Nothing is filled in for you—the numbers are yours to read. YOUR MACHINE—INCLUDING YOURS • Pick from 163 built-in serger, overlocker, coverstitch, and combination models across 14 brands. • Not on the list? Add your machine yourself in seconds. Nothing works differently afterwards. • A machine can remember your usual tensions, needle, and thread, so a new recipe begins closer to reality. FIND IT LATER • Search by fabric, machine, stitch, thread, needle, or tag. • Filter by fabric type, stitch type, tag, favourite, or a great result. • Compare two recipes side by side and see only what differs. • Duplicate a recipe to test one change without losing the original. KEEP IT ON PAPER TOO • Print a settings card for one recipe, sized to cut out and keep with the physical swatch. • Print one page listing every recipe saved on a machine, for the wall beside it. • Each card carries a code that reopens that recipe when you scan it. YOUR NEEDLES AND THREAD • Record what you own, with a count—six cones of the same colour is one entry. • Choose from 14 needle systems and 11 thread lines transcribed from manufacturer documentation, from Gütermann, Madeira, Mettler, and Maxi-Lock. • Mark what is running out, then take the list to the shop with the brand, weight, and colour already on it. READING THE STITCH • See which control an unbalanced stitch relates to, in the machine makers' own words, with a link to each source. • It never tells you what to set. The right value depends on your machine, thread, and fabric—which is exactly why you save yours. FREE, AND WHAT PRO ADDS The free vault holds three machines and ten recipes, and printed cards carry a small line along one edge. Serger Recipes Pro is a one-time purchase—not a subscription—that removes those three limits, on every device signed in to the same Apple Account. Needles and thread are never limited. iCloud sync, backup and export, search, filtering, comparison, and printing itself are free on both. Nothing you have already saved is ever locked or removed, whether you buy Pro or not. PRIVACY No account, no advertising, nothing sent to us. Your recipes stay on your device, and in your own iCloud if you switch sync on. Export a full backup whenever you want one. YOUR MACHINE, YOUR REFERENCE Serger settings are personal. Serger Recipes stores what worked for you; it does not replace testing on a fabric scrap before starting a project.Read more
