You are behind the counter of a burger shop. Customers queue up, each with an order and a patience timer. You take the order, the kitchen cooks it, the runner hands it over. Get an order wrong and you lose a regular. Make people wait and they walk out. Regulars are most of your income, so every mistake costs you twice. The pressure is never how fast you can tap. It is what you buy next, and when. A second grill doubles your kitchen, but it is money you might need for stock. A cashier takes orders at a steady pace: slower than you, but never tired. A fryer unlocks fries, and a fries order needs a free grill and a free fryer at the same time. When the shop finally runs itself, open a second branch and hire a manager to keep it running while you are away. Stock is the other half of the game. Ingredients cost money you have not earned yet, and the delivery truck takes time to arrive. Buy too much and you cannot afford the equipment. Buy too little and you turn people away at the counter.
