More hospitals are listed and waiting for their first number. Made for the corridor at 2am The whole directory lives on your phone, so it opens and searches with no signal: in the basement, in the lift, on a ward with no reception. No login, no loading. Find a number fast • Search by hospital name or extension • Search a hospital's numbers by ward, unit, clinic or department • Tap to call, or copy or share a number Who just phoned you? Type the extension that came up on your screen and see whose it is, across every hospital in the directory. Kept current by the people who use it Health Switch is maintained by South African healthcare workers. Missing a number? Add it. Number wrong? Correct it. Number no longer works? Mark it as incorrect. Every change keeps the previous version, so anything can be put back. Work numbers, not private ones The directory lists numbers that ring at a desk, a ward or an office. It is not a staff contact list, and personal mobile numbers do not belong in it. Find one and report it in the app, and it is removed. Free, with Pro if you want it The directory, offline use and contributing are free for everyone, permanently. Health Switch Pro removes the sponsored bar and adds favourites for your hospitals and numbers, and dark mode. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple Account. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
