Sleeve reads the set code printed on a trading card and opens the matching search page on Europe's largest marketplace for single cards, in your own browser. THE TIME IT SAVES FOR EACH CARD You are at someone else's table, holding someone else's binder, with people waiting behind you. To find out what a card is worth you read a tiny code off the bottom edge, unlock your phone, open a browser, find the marketplace, choose the game, and type the code in. Sleeve replaces all of that with pointing the camera at the code. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose your game once. Sleeve remembers it. 2. Point at the set code printed on the card. Sleeve reads it, and waits for two readings to agree before it trusts one. 3. Confirm, and the search page opens in your own browser — already signed in, because it is your browser and your session. Codes are read through single sleeves, double sleeves and top-loader. The reading happens on your device: the picture is never uploaded, and there is nothing to sign in to. WHICH CARDS IT READS Sleeve works with games that print a set code on the card itself. Three are supported: - Pokémon - One Piece - Riftbound If your cards carry a code in one of those shapes, Sleeve reads them. The supported games are named on the game screen inside the app. One of the three did not print a set code until 2023. Sleeve reads those older cards a different way — from the set symbol printed beside the collector number — covering more than a hundred sets. Promo cards, and the earliest sets that carry no symbol at all, are the exception. WHAT SLEEVE DELIBERATELY DOES NOT DO • No prices, no listings, no stock. Sleeve never asks for any — the page you land on is loaded by your own browser, in your own session. • No card database of its own. • No offline mode. Sleeve needs an internet connection. • No account, and nothing to sign in to. If a code is too worn or too dark to read, type it instead. That path is always free and has no limit.
