About
K-Food Pop turns Korean street food into a match-3 you can play anywhere — a bus stop, a waiting room, a plane with the WiFi off. Match tteokbokki, hotteok (a griddled sweet pancake), gyeran-mari (rolled omelette), ssuk jeolpyeon (mugwort rice cake), bingsu (shaved ice), and mandu (dumplings) across twenty Korean settings — Gwangjang Market in Seoul, a pojangmacha street stall, a jangdokdae jar terrace, a hanok kitchen, a rice cake shop, a hanjeongsik table, a teahouse, a Jeju five-day market, a palace garden, the royal kitchen, and ten new destinations including Busan, Jeonju, Chuncheon, Gangneung, Daegu, Andong, Tongyeong, Damyang, Winter Snack Street and the Eight-Province Feast. Clear a stall's order, and the next one opens. WHAT MAKES A GOOD MATCH A skewer (four in a row) clears its whole row or column. A wrap (an L or T shape) bursts twice for a bigger blast. Bibimbap — the "mix everything" dish — clears every piece of one kind on the board. Match a 2×2 square and it rolls up into gimbap, which rolls across the board on its own to knock out whatever's in its way. Land a big combo and the game shouts back at you in Korean — 맛있다! (delicious), 대박! (amazing), 최고! (the best), and 완판! (sold out) when you clear the board. Korean words appear on screen with their romanization, so you pick them up just by playing. A MENU THAT EXPLAINS ITSELF Every food in the game has a card in the Menu — what it does on the board, and what the dish actually is, written in both English and Korean. Nothing there is locked behind progress; it is all open from the first day, so you can look up a dish the moment you wonder about it. WHAT'S NOT HERE No ads of any kind. No lives to wait out — lose a level, try it again immediately. No in-app purchases, no currency to buy, nothing to unlock with money. No push notifications. No accounts, no leaderboards, nothing to sign into. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE, EITHER The app makes zero network requests while you play. There's nothing to collect, so there's nothing to send — no analytics, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter, no login. What you see is everything the app is. BUILT TO PLAY OFFLINE Every asset ships inside the app itself. Turn on airplane mode and it plays exactly the same — on a plane, underground, or anywhere else the signal drops. TWO LANGUAGES, ONE GAME Play in English or Korean, and switch anytime in settings. Every dish name is always shown in both languages, because part of the fun is learning the Korean word for something you might actually eat one day. 200 levels across twenty Korean settings. No ads. No lives. No purchases. Just K-food.Read more
