Point your camera at something and get its size. No tape, no second pair of hands. Rulio uses your camera to measure the space in front of you. Tap once where the measurement starts, once where it ends, and read the number off the screen. WHAT YOU CAN MEASURE • Distance — the length of a wall, the height of a doorway, the gap a sofa has to fit through • Area — walk the corners of a room and Rulio adds up the perimeter and the floor area • Volume — outline a base, enter a height, and get the box an object occupies BUILT FOR REAL SITUATIONS • Metric and imperial, switched at any time — measure in centimetres, read it back in inches • Every measurement is saved with its type and date, so a whole flat can be measured in one pass • Works offline; nothing is uploaded and no account is needed HONEST ABOUT ACCURACY Camera measuring is fast and close, not exact. Expect the order of a centimetre per metre in good light on a textured surface. When tracking is poor, Rulio says so instead of showing a confident wrong number. For millimetres, use a tape.
