Seating Chart for Teachers

Seating Chart is an iPad app for teachers who want a clear, flexible way to arrange students and keep practical classroom tools close at hand. Start with the room you actually teach in. Add desks and classroom furniture, define the front of the room, and reuse the same Classroom across the Classes that meet there. Add or import your roster, arrange students visually, and save multiple Seating Plans for different teaching situations. Seating Preferences can help shape generated plans using front/back, fixed-seat, keep-together, and keep-apart preferences. During class, switch between Seating Chart and Roster views, take Attendance, use Random to choose students, organize with Groups and Color By, and keep lightweight Quick Records. Create teacher-controlled backup files through Files when you want to protect your data or transfer it to another iPad. Classroom data stays on your iPad unless you choose to export it.
