SCORED FOR BOTH LANGUAGES Tell NameSay which two languages the name has to work in and, if you know, whether you are expecting a boy or a girl. Browse names with a score for each language and the reasons behind it: sounds that do not exist in one of them, spellings that get mangled, meanings you would rather avoid. HEAR IT, BOTH WAYS Every name is spoken in both languages with a written pronunciation beside it, so the two of you are arguing about the same sound. TWO COLUMNS, ONE LIST Shortlist a name and it goes on a board with a column for each of you. Send your partner the list and they open it in NameSay on their own phone, mark it up, and send it back. They never pay to see what you added. The board fills in as the two of you mark names, and the ones you both like rise to the top. NOTHING TO RENEW The free list holds ten names and plays a pronunciation twenty times. One payment removes both limits. Not a subscription: a name is chosen once, so there is nothing to renew.
