Sprouts and Plants: Watering

Every plant on your windowsill wants water on a different day. Sprouts works out which day, for each one. Photograph a plant, or pick it from a catalogue of 95 common houseplants. Sprouts identifies the species, reads the temperature and humidity where you actually live, and turns that into a watering interval for that one pot — then reminds you when the day arrives. Tap "Watered" and the next date moves. HOW IT WORKS 1. Snap a photo, or search the catalogue if you already know the name. 2. Set the pot size and how bright the spot is. 3. Get an interval and a reminder. Water, tap once, done. WATER TOGETHER Share one set of plants with the people you live with. Everyone sees the same plants and watering days, gets the same reminders, and anyone can tap "Watered" — so nobody waters twice, and nothing is forgotten while you are away. Invite with a one-time code from Settings. WHY THESE DATES BEAT THE CARE LABEL A plastic tag says "water every 7 days". It was written for a greenhouse, not your flat. Sprouts adjusts the species interval for: • Pot size — a small pot dries out days before a large one • Light — a bright south window pulls far more water than a shaded corner • Your climate — warm dry air shortens the gap, cool humid air stretches it WHAT YOU GET • Species identification from one photo, with a confidence rating • A catalogue of 95 common houseplants, searchable in all five languages • A watering interval per plant, not one blanket schedule for everything • A reminder per plant, at an hour you choose • One-tap "Watered", with the full history for each plant • Family sharing: up to seven people on one set of plants, with Sprouts Team • A calendar of everything coming up — water, feed, mist, turn, clean — across every plant • What to feed each plant, at what strength, and the steps to do it • Misting, turning and leaf cleaning judged per species, including when a plant is better left alone • Your own photo timeline for each plant, so a year of growth is one screen • Ask Siri to log watering, or open a plant straight from Spotlight search • Something looks wrong? Photograph it and get the likely cause and what to do this week • Light, humidity, temperature, soil, pruning and repotting notes per species • Where a species is commonly listed as toxic to cats or dogs, the card says so plainly • Your collection synced, so a new iPhone restores every plant and schedule • Reminders keep arriving with no signal PRIVACY, PLAINLY No account to create, no email to hand over. Location is used at city-level accuracy, for weather only. Your photos build your own plant cards and nothing else. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising. Settings has a one-tap delete that removes everything, permanently. SPROUTS PRO AND TEAM Your first three plants and first five identifications are free. Saving a fourth plant needs a subscription: • Sprouts Pro — for you and one other person • Sprouts Team — for up to seven people sharing the same plants Both come weekly or yearly; yearly is the lower price per month. Identifications and plant health checks are shared by the household: 100 a month with Pro, 250 with Team. Prices are shown in the app before you confirm anything. Browsing the catalogue, reading species notes, watering your plants, and adding your own photos are never limited. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.
