About

You are a climber. There is a door at the top. Between you and it are thirty chapters of five single-screen rooms, and every room is a trap. Chapters 1-2 are free, the whole climb; one purchase opens the rest. Two arrows and a jump. That is all you get, and it is all you need, because the ledges are not the problem. The rock that drops a beat after you land is the problem. The ledge that holds for half a second and gives way. The gust that shoves you mid-air. The ledge that was never there. The nails that come up out of the rock, down out of the ceiling, out of the wall. The saw. The exit that slides two metres to the left while you are in the air toward it. Every fall is a death. Every death sends you back to the start of the chapter, in less than a second, with the count on the screen. The traps fire once and re-arm when you die, so the room you just learned is the room you climb again — except that after your first death in a chapter, one room quietly changes sides. Later the rooms stop being climbs. A storm room shoves you in the wind and whites out the screen mid-jump. A cave room shows you four metres of light. A sideways room makes you cross low over the spikes. A water room floats you toward the nails with four seconds to get out. There is no map, no upgrade tree, no currency, no energy. Thirty chapters, a par in deaths and seconds for each, three stars for beating both, and a daily chapter everyone climbs the same (never one you haven't unlocked). - Two arrows and a jump. Nothing else. - Chapters 1-2 free, the whole climb. One purchase opens 3-30, forever. - Eleven kinds of trap, up to four a room, placed where a human lands - Death in under a second: burst, flash, count, back at the start - One room per chapter changes sides after your first death - Storm, cave, sideways and water rooms from chapter 4 - Stars by deaths and time; a daily chapter shared by everyone - No ads, no accounts, no analytics, no subscription.
